The San Francisco Cable Car Museum, devoted to the city’s transit history, is also nearby, as are the SF Masonic Auditorium, a popular live music venue, and the Pacific-Union Club, one of the state’s oldest social clubs.

Driving to the East Bay takes about half an hour, depending on traffic, as does driving to San Francisco International Airport.
