Icarus Story

Icarus Story

After Dedalos and Icarus took flight, Dedalos warned his son not to fall from a height or fall into the sea while flying. However, while enjoying flying, Icarus forgot his fear of heights and did not heed his father’s warnings. As he approached the Sun, the wax began to melt, and Icarus fell into the sea and drowned as his wings dissolved.

The Icarus story is often interpreted as the consequences of overconfidence or failure to listen to the father’s advice. Additionally, as a mythological figure, Icarus’ name is used to express the dangers of overconfidence or the desire to fly. Contact us for detailed information about Sylvia Von Harden.
